Farmhouse with Gardens

Expertly renovated grade 2 scheduled farmhouse originally consisting of two farmhouses in the beautiful Gozitan village of San Lawrenz and situated at the edge of the village available for long let. It is practically fully detached with only the southern party wall adjoining another house, otherwise, it is surrounded by countryside with breathtaking sea and country views all around. The home has a large living and breakfast room with all modern kitchen appliances, an unusually long mill room divided into a TV and living area with a large open fireplace and a dining room with a bright and airy conservatory that is used as another living, study and library area. Upstairs there are 4 large bedrooms, en suite on 2 separate wings with 2 bedrooms in each wing. The property features a large garden with sunny terraces, a rose garden, relaxing water features as well as olive trees. The total area of the farmhouse and garden is around 1035 m2. The farmhouse was the home of the British novelist Lieutenant Commander Nicholas Monsarrat and his wife Anna for 40 years. The genuine and original structure reflecting the typical Gozitan farmhouse architecture makes this a must/see home! Call us today for a viewing.
